Waitlists

In cases where there are no more permits available for a parking lot, a waitlist is used to reassign spaces as they become available.

To place your name on a waitlist:

1. Go to My Parking Online.
2. Login and scroll down to the ‘Permits’ section.
3. Click on ‘Add/Edit Waitlists’. This will take you to a list of lots with waitlists available.
4. Sign up for a waitlist by clicking on ‘Add’. You can immediately see your position on the list.
5. Once you are on in a waitlist, you can see your position on the waiting list, along with your sign up date and the total number of people on the list.

At any time, you may review your place on a waitlist by returning to My Parking Online and reviewing your information.

Follow steps 1-3 above. Scroll down to ‘Your Current Save Waitlist Selections’ and select ‘Delete’ next to the corresponding waitlist. Keep in mind: if you remove your name from a waitlist, you will lose your place on that list. If you rejoin that list, you will be at the bottom of the list.

Once a space becomes available you will receive a time-sensitive offer via your university email address, with the option to accept or decline the offer. If you accept the offer, you must log into your parking account to purchase the permit by the expiration date on your award notice.

If you do not respond by the date listed with each offer, your name will be removed from the waitlist, and you will not be able to purchase that permit. The space will be offered to the next person on the list. You may rejoin the waitlist, but will lose your previous position.

You will remain on the waitlist until you are offered the lot, remove yourself from the waitlist, ask the Parking Dept. to remove you from the waitlist, or leave the University.
